Due to one of our team members going off to travel to world (lucky her!) Debt Advice Foundation is on the look-out for a Teaching & Programme Coordinator to join our financial education programme, DebtAware, based at our head office in Blackburn, Lancashire.
Our programme is delivered throughout the North West and is aimed primarily at 9-11 year olds. Reporting directly to our Education Manager Brian Souter, your role will involve some travel as you visit our schools so you will need to have your own vehicle and and a full, clean driving licence. There will also be general administration and evaluation duties which will be based at the office, so you should be capable of using Microsoft programmes such as Excel, with at least a grade C at G.C.S.E in English and Maths.
The role is 3 days per week 9.00am-4pm and the starting salary will be £11.00 per hour. Annual employment will be for 44 weeks and will not include the main school holidays of Christmas, Easter and four weeks of the summer break.
